About our club

Founded in 2004, Vestavia Hills High School Habitat for Humanity existed to fund and build a home for a family in Jefferson County. In 2020, with new leadership and a new vision, The One Birmingham Service Club began to pursue a mission of doing small things with great love.

Our name change reflects our desire to better know and love our neighbors across Birmingham. But how will we accomplish this?

We believe that through service individuals learn to show mercy to one another. In mercy, hope is born. And because of hope, communities are built. We show mercy by addressing food insecurity, supporting the homeless, and helping residents improve their homes. The relationships we build throughout our community provide hope to our students and those we are serving. Join us as we seek to grow and build strong relationships throughout Birmingham.
